SIPA x Kitab Ghar Lahore: Sagar Veena Session

There’s something special about watching people discover an instrument they’ve never encountered before. At our Sagar Veena Session, the room was filled with curiosity as its rich, resonant sound drew everyone in.

What made the evening even more memorable were the conversations afterwards, with so many attendees eager to learn how the Sagar Veena works, how it creates such unique tones, and the story behind it. Those conversations and shared moments of wonder remind us that music has a wonderful way of bringing people together through shared curiosity and connection. We’re so glad everyone came along for the journey.

A special thank you to Kitab Ghar Lahore for not only hosting us but also partnering with us to bring this session to life. We’re grateful to have shared this experience with such an engaged community, and we look forward to creating many more opportunities to explore music together.

Our Vision

In the words of Raza Kazim:

“The objective of the Institute is to discover and establish through knowledge, reason and verification, a framework of theory and practice in an effort to contribute towards a new and superior civilization emerging in our time. The Institute symbolizes my answer to the age-old question of human misery and happiness: taking the next step in human evolution through mental intelligence.”

Consistent with its conceived vision, SIPA has functioned as a dynamic social laboratory, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and innovation.
